Great card!

Strengths: Runs just about everything you can throw at it.

Weakness: The card cooler take two slots.

Blazing fast card, and extremely quiet with default fan speed.

@ 1900x1200 resolution, with most/all graphic options turned to high:

-150-200 fps in WoW
-300-400 fps in Team Fortress 2
-50 fps in Hellgate London
-haven't tried to abuse this poor card with Crysis :(

-Scored over 14k in 3dMark 06

Keep an eye out for rebates on this card. I snatched it for $230 after rebate.

Great card

Strengths: Fast, good price

Weakness: None

I purchased this card to replace aging 7950 on system with x38 motherboard running Vista x64 Ultimate.
Card is very fast in games (I play only BF2) and works well with Autodesk Architecture 2008. Card by itself is built very well, and has lifetime warranty from BFG, and doesn't have any problems so far.

BFG NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTS OC 512MB

Strengths: performance(duh), fan effectiveness, looks, lifetime warranty and BFG support, factory over clocked and supposed to be even more overclockable for those that desire more

Weakness: price, size maybe for some? (no problem for my Antec Sonata 3)

Very good performance and it ought to be, these things aint cheap! Probably overkill for me, playing only COD 1,2, and 4, and MOH Airborne, I noticed smoother and much more detailed picture from previous BFG7600GT. Looks awesome, it's huge, and a little loud but it's not overwhelming. I thought it ran hot, but seems to be standard for these cards. Using RivaTune to set fan speeds. I want to eventually set up an HTPC and hope to still use this card. Fan is nice for exhausting case heat also. Well, by the time I really get to appreciate this card it will be "old news" and it might even already be for all I know, so I'll enjoy it while I got it!

BFG 8800 GTS OC Is An Awesome Card!!!

Strengths: Speed, Great Price, Still Room For Additional Overclocking

Weakness: I haven't found any weaknesses other than the fact that Pricegrabber says this card has video capture and it does not.

I purchased 2 of these cards to run primarily in SLI mode. I play F.E.A.R., Quake 4 and Call Of Duty 4 and have had no problems at all. I have even checked out COD #4 with a single video card on max settings and it keeps up very well and the frame rate never seems to lag much. In dual video card mode (SLI) there is absolutely no lag. The rendering, shading and acceleration is awesome and blows my old ATI card away. This can be overclocked much more than the factory overclocked it and on a monitor smaller than 25", it keeps up with the 8800 GTX! Unless you need a huge monitor, save your money and get this card! It is well worth the $250 I paid per card and they come with a lifetime warranty. BFG customer support is also easy to reach. Disregard pricegrabbers specs saying there is video capture. There is not.

BFG 8800 GTS Video Card Review BFGE88512GTSE

Strengths: Dual slot cooler, factory overclocked. BFG has excellent customer service and RMA service if you need it.

Weakness: None that I am aware of right now.

I like the dual slot cooler because it exhausts directly out of the case and does not recirculate like other heatsink/fans. This video card also has quite a bit of overclocking headroom.

Make sure you have a high quality power supply to run this card. I have an Antec Earthwatts 500 and it is running this card stably.

Plays all my games with AA/AF, everything can be maxed out except in Crysis. For the money this is an excellent card that I'd recommend.

My thoughts on the BFG 8800GTS 512MB graphics card

Strengths: G92 core, 512 MB memory, BFG warrenty, sli compatible

Weakness: big/bulky, fans emit noticable sound

This card is basicaly an underclocked version of a 500$ + card. I am very happy with it so far, it runs Team Fortress 2 very smoothly. The biggest down side to this card is the overall size. Other then that the price vs quality is excellent and it being SLI compatible is also great.

A Cheap 8800GTX!

Strengths: -Runs everything I can throw at it flawlessly (except Crysis, of course). -Performance nearly as good as an 8800GTX. -Dual-slot cooler cuts down on noise and pushes hot air out of your case.

Weakness: -May need to upgrade your power supply (but doesn't draw much more power than an 8800GT). -Performance may trail off on a 30" monitor. -Takes up 2 expansion slots.

This is an amazing card - quiet, fast, and has a lifetime warranty...what more could one want? I can say nothing but good about my experience with this card and how well it runs all the newest games. Has the G92 core that the 8800GT has, but includes 124 versus 112 stream processors and the dual-slot cooler to push hot air out of your case instead of recirculating it (unlike the noisy reference 8800GT design).

If one was to study a few benchmarks, one would see how close the 8800GTS comes to the 8800GTX in performance. When it's overclocked to its maximum, it pretty consistently beats the 8800GTX (unless you're running on a 30" monitor, then the extra RAM on the GTX gives the advantage).

BFG recommends a 425-watt power supply with 28 amps to run their 8800GT and GTS cards on a basic system, so make sure you have a suitable power supply before purchasing!

GeForce 8800 GTS Video Card (512MB, PCI Express x16,...

Strengths: Excellent card, hefty cooler

Weakness: NONE

I love this card! It runs everything well, and is reasonably inexpensive too. Its a great step up from my old Radeon X1900GT, and if I ever need more performance, I just need to put another one of these cards in my PC.
