AMD Athlon 64 3000+ Processor

Strengths: inexpansive, decent performance, SSE3, better memory controller, runs cooler

Weakness: slightly more expansive than Winchester.

Venice is the update version of Winchester. It runs slightly cooler with a better memory controller which is a plus for overclockers. The new addition of SSE3 instructions is good if you use it. With the ability of 64-bit operation, this CPU is future-proof. Despite the fact that this CPU is rather inexpansive, one thing it doesn't lack of is the performance. Highly recommend this CPU for anyone who is looking for an entry level gaming CPU.

Bringin.... not just singin

Strengths: Smoooth game play(lot of CSS and original CS).

Weakness: None that I noticed.

I suggest getting a motherboard that will compliment this chip (I have cheap Chaintech w/1689 chipset so i can run my AGP 6600 gt vid card). Gamers dream....AMD! But lookin forward to 3800 X2 AMD...and saving lol
