With American Power Conversion's New Biometric Mouse Password Manager you can just scan you thumb and access any password protected directory you have. You also have assurance that nobody else can access your password protected directories except for you, of course. This tool also permits up to twenty different fingerprints or twenty different users to store passwords on a single computer system.

15 minutes after installing the...

Strengths: Small, simple to install and use.

Weakness: Does not work with some programs; browser compatibility - IE only; may randomly be unable to recognize a fingerprint.

15 minutes after installing the unit and software, it chose not to recognize my fingerprint any more - I had to delete my user enrollment and start again. Worked fine with Quicken, refused to work with WS-FTP Pro. For web site password protection you MUST use Internet Explorer only, it will not work with any other browser. I have now returned the unit for a refund as a result of this last item -...

I have to remember a million passwords that has to be changed every month and with this biometric reader it saves me the headache of being locked out from my files.
