I can't even imagine anything...
Strengths: 2.4 GHz of 64-bit AMD FX technology with 1MB L2 Cache that will blow any Intel chip (current and upcoming) out of the water. This thing smokes. Also has built in virus protection that works w/SP2!!!
Weakness: Only in my knees and bowels when I think about this chip...
I can't even imagine anything faster then this chip, it runs like it's 4+ GHz...and think about it...the FX-57 will be here in no time...all the chips are standard Socket 939 now so once you buy a board you can upgrade your chip all you want (if you got the cash that is)! Only thing that sucks is no PCI eXpress yet or DDR2 anytime soon, but hey...IT'S STILL SMOKIN' INTEL W/OUT THESE THINGS AND...

Down fanboys, down. The Athlon 64 FX line is a good series of chips. AMD's Athlon64/FX and Opteron families excel at gaming and office productivity. Intel's Pentium 4 and Xeon line are still the better choices for Multimedia and Content Creation. All benchmarks show the flip-flop between AMD and Intel in those key areas.
