Doom 3(PC)

Strengths: Everthing About the game is extremely, ridiclously, & Geniously unique, intense, dramatic, realistic, powerful, evil, dark, seriously interesting,(to me it is, i don't care what people say) & feroious.

Weakness: Nothing.(Reminds me just like Doom, Doom 2, & also Final Doom)Just diverse story, overwhelmingly enhanced & improved graphics, different sound effects & music, & same but, changed enemy look.Kind of.

Doom 3 is a interesting & brutal game w/ extremely lots of digusting, disturbing, evil, violent, aggressive, choatic, & a massive a lot, extremely a lot of blood & gore.(in a good way) The story is diverse, unique intense, compelling, forceful & powerful, I can get into it & be seriously interested in the plotline, the dialogue, & everything about it.(in my opinion) I have a lot a lot a lot of...

Activision Doom 3

Strengths: Great graphics and sound

Weakness: Can be redundant and what's with the flashlight.

Got this game last week runing it on ATI Radeon 9800Pro, Graphic is awesome, can't say enough about it, Sound is amazing on my Logitec Z640s..the sound is what makes everything so scary.

Activision Doom 3

Strengths: The prettiest game released to date. Unbelievable texture, lighting and shadow effects. Very creepy in appropriate places. Strong atmosphere that consists of gloom, gloom and more gloom.

Weakness: Extremely simple AI (they charge at you and that's pretty much it), and a lot of 'boo' gimmicks. Gameplay gets pretty boring after a while.

this game marks the beginning of the next wave of FPS titles. Believe everything you've heard about the graphics, as they are beyond anything that's been seen before. Lights cast realistic shadows, and everything looks metallic and shines with specular highlights. The character models look far more complex than they are due to normal mapping, at the results are impressive. You can see the subtle...

Activision Doom 3

Strengths: Highly detailed graphics, good scary atmosphere, original soundtrack - again made by Nine inch nails. The new engine looks great, shadows and lightning are very complex and look more reallife.

Weakness: Not much improved artificial intelligence.

DOOM III has a single player as well as a multiplayer environment. Sound has been upgraded to 5.1 Surround. You can see the impact of shots on the enemy bodies. If you hit the opponent in the shoulder you can see a shotwound on the shoulder. Enemies can hide in dark places and wait for you to come close. Although its a remake of DOOM I, it looks like a new game. I have seen the latest beta...

Activision Doom 3

Strengths: Amazing graphics, tonnes of detail - my 64mb geforce can barley run it i had to turn off shadows and set to lowest res. Sound is also great with all sorts of sounds that will scare you - crank it up!

Weakness: Gameplay is the same as old doom. walk around getting acesss to levels, monsters get predicatble like they always come behind you when going for medkits and stuff like that.

I finished it today and i loved it. I can't get over how great this game looks specially in the delta labs and beyond. As for the flashlight issue, go to download.com and search for doom 3 mods in downloads section and get the flashlight pk4 file and put it in your doom directory. You get a flashlight on your guns it works great even though it's not as bright as the hand held one.

Activision Doom 3

Strengths: Great Graphics, Cool shadowing

Weakness: graphics are too good for its own good, low replay value

this isnt really a great game. its just a good game. But they they went too far with the graphics. if you don't meet the the recommended requirements, don't get it, or get a new computer cause it will lag like heck. even on my dell dimension 8300 it will lag with like 5 monsters with the graphics all thhe way down. wouldn't recommen buying this till it gets bellow $40.

DOOM 3

Man, I can’t tell you how excited I was to pick up and get to review Doom 3. Anyone who has read my bio will know that I am a fanatic about FPS titles, and have played the best to the worst of them all. I especially enjoy run and gun style FPS titles, and my entire love for these games were spawned back in 1994 when I sat down at a friend’s house and played the original Doom by id Software....

Critical review of Doom 3

I scream. You scream. We all scream for Doom 3. Ah yes, Doom 3. The game toting the name that made it a smash hit before anyone laid eyes on a single screen shot. John C. and company knew they had a gold mine on their hands with their next installation of the legendary Doom series, they just had to wait for the right time to jump on it. Once the first set of screen shots was released, Doom 3 had...

DOOM 3

DOOM 3 is a great game. Not necessarily for the gameplay aspects, but for the fact that my eyes and ears never went a moment without being completely entertained. DOOM 3 is extremely immersive with about as perfect a presentation as I've ever seen in a game. Visually, it has no peer at the moment. Even Far Cry's impressive vistas and wonderful environments can't stand up to the artistic and...

Doom 3

DOOM 3 is a terrifying SCI-FI horror game experience. It is not recommended for the cowardly or the faint of heart. However, for those who dare to face DOOM 3 as it was intended; lock your door, turn off the lights, and turn up your sound.
