Asus P4P800-VM Desktop Motherboard - Intel 865G...Strengths: Stable performance, good website support, SATA, adequate integrated audio. Weakness: No onboard IEEE, not condusive to overclocking. I am married this mobo with the P4-2.8E processor and housed it in the Antec Aria case. This mobo is great if you are not going to OC.

Asus P4P800-VM Desktop Motherboard - Intel 865G...Strengths: Onboard video, audio, lan, usb 2.0, serial ata, P4 HT support, good documentation, excellent tech support. Weakness: Not designed for overclocking. Overall this board was a good value. I wanted a reliable business machine with onboard video. All Asus mobos I've purchased in the past have been reliable so I decided to go with Asus. Installation was very easy.

P4P800-VM MotherboardStrengths: mATX, support for prescott cpu, dual channel ddr memory, serial ata, 6 ch audio, 8 usb ports, s/pdif out Weakness: no Firewire port on the motherboard This is a good motherboard from Asus. I can rely on Asus for compatibility, reliability and stability. It has all the features I want. Would have been better if there was firewire port on the motherboard. Would have given 5 stars if there would have been a firewire port.

Good Board - Seamless upgradeStrengths: Easy installation, easy Bios upgrade with utility via internet. Everything worked right out of the box. Weakness: Board was 1/4" longer than my original - preventing re-installation of my removable bay in front of the MB. Overall it seems like a good board. Printed documentation seemed to be adequate - but who ever reads that stuff anyways. I didn't need to reference it too much. I tried to upgrade the Bios over the internet but kept getting a message that too many people were trying. Only tried for a few minutes though. It seems like a slick upgrade method though. USB worked great, my add-on 1394 card worked...

Great board for the money...Very reliable
Strengths: This board is great if used for internet surfing, email sending, document writing and most other modern low intensity applications. I would not use it for newer games or video editing unless I had an add-on video card and Pentium Processor.
Weakness: None, if your expectations are realistic.
This board is old technology, but is well supported, very reliable and affordable. If you want the fastest spec machine around you will have to spend a little money instead of over clocking a Celeron, until toasty hot, on this board.
